This is a staple in Brooklyn. Black-owned, clean, friendly, professional, and all-around excellent service. They have the right-sized menu with nuanced variety. The Crabby Shack is one of favorite places in Brooklyn and beyond. Sometimes, I’ll just stop by to say hi!

The food, restaurant and staff are spectacular. My husband loves crabs legs but finds them really fiddly to eat. He spent a good 45 minutes working away at them and said they were delicious. Before we left, the waitress came out with a bag of extra crabs legs and said they’d noticed he was struggling and wanted him to have a little extra to take home and enjoy! It was a lovely gesture that made an already great dining experience even more memorable.

The price is great, the music was great, cute vibe. Now about the food… I got the clobster roll which was crab and lobster. It was pretty good but I think I would for sure just get the lobster roll next time. My favorite thing I got was the crab grilled cheese. That alone gets five stars for me. I’ll be back there soon.
